What a lot of people don’t realize until they experience it first hand is that indoor tanning is a very relaxing experience. One of the reasons people come to Tan FX is for the stress relief a relaxing tanning experience brings.
Let’s walk through your experience:
When you come in for your first appointment, a Tan FX certified staff member will ask you to join them on an in depth tour of the salon. Once completed you will be asked to fill out our salon personal history form which will help the salon staff develop your exposure schedule. Please be sure to answer accurately to avoid the risk of overexposure. Please also note that your personal information is only for each individual store use and will be kept confidential.
Choosing your tanning package, lotion and goggle preference is essential in ensuring every customer has their exact needs met. Salon staff will be able to narrow down which package will work best for you as well as find the right lotion for you based on your skin type and recent tanning history. Goggles are mandatory however color preference is important and all up to you!
Now that you have your first exposure time set, your goggles are in hand and you have selected your lotion of choice. You will enter the tanning room as selected by the salon staff to prepare for your session. Here you will have 5 minutes to undress, apply lotion to all exposed areas of skin including your face, lie down and place your goggles on your eyes
It is at this point new customers become uneasy about pulling the top of the bed down however trust us when we say it is not a bad as it appears. Just pull the top down to where you are comfortable and relax!! The goal being to pull the top down as far as it can go to ensure an all over, event tan. The salon staff will have set your time as discussed, at this point you can reach up and hit the start button to begin your tanning session
With 5 seconds left in your tan, the bed with beep 5 times to let you know when the bed your time is finished. When the lights shut of, remove your goggles and exit the bed. At this point you can begin to dress, admire your newly tanned skin in the mirror and exit the room. The salon staff will remove your used towel and sanitize the equipment for you.
